Easily upgrade your rearview mirror, part is going to cost you about $175. Takes less than 5 minutes. The mirror adds the 3 Homelink buttons and contains the auto day/night. It is also without a bezal and looks nicer and less plastic IMO. Hope this helps someone get it done.

We just acquired a 2008 CR-V LX. I want to add the overhead console with a Homelink to it. It currently has just the map lights and glasses holder. I know there is some wiring I'll have to do, but what I don't know is what model cars (Honda or other) would have an overhead console with the...

Hey so I have a question: I saw a thread about someone wanting to install Homelink on their 05 CR-V. The post was great, lots of good ideas, totally do-able. So then I wondered "What about my 2008?" Surely, my 2003 Acura TL Type S had it, so why can't I add it to my CR-V? I did an Ebay...

Looking to add the OEM overhead console Homelink to my 2017 EX. The module isn’t too expensive at $156. What I don’t know is if the existing wiring harness is enough to get it working. Hoping that somebody has experience with this...

I've tried searching for this, but have come up frustrated, so please be patient. 2017 CR-V EX (U.S. model). How can I tell whether or not it has HomeLink? Was that an extra-cost option? I've seen some material that seems to indicate it is there, but my mirror has no little buttons on it, nor...

So my wife has a 2018 EX - It does not have the homelink. Is there anyway i can add this to her car? I cant seem to find the part number anywhere. Anyone add one of these to their Ex?

I bought a homelink mirror from college hill honda. I have the wiring harness. The +red &+yellow. I know what they do. I don’t really want to cut wires. Is there an empty spot in the fuse panel that I could hook up the 2 wires? I know they will go to different spots and I can get 2 wire to fuse...

I was wondering, I added a homelink module to my 17 CRV LX overhead it works but cannot get the leds lights on the button to illuminate. I guess the harness in the overhead did not have it. is there a way I can add that wire from somewhere ? Maybe tap the harness underneath the drivers...

Hi all, I have read through some installation posts about aftermarket self-dimming mirrors with Homelink. I apologize if this is answered somewhere, but I didn't find this specifically. I'm buying a 2015 CR-V EX-L that has an auto-dimming mirror already installed. My assumption is this is...

I'm getting a rattle from the cover where the Homelink buttons would be. My 2017 EX doesn't have the the Homelink so it is just a grille. I was wondering if others have had this issue and what they did to resolve? Alternatively does anyone how easy it is to pop off? I don't do much interior...

Hello all, This is my first post in the group. Please let me know if its not the correct forum (newbie mistake). Just bought a 2017 CRV and wanted to ask if there is a way to program Homelink using apartment key fob. Apartment has given key fob that you bring close to the garage gate sensor pad...

Bought an EX(cloth) last week and it wasnt till I got home that I realized it didnt have the built in garage door buttons or the dimming mirror (but has remote start... go figure). Has anyone added a Gentex Homelink mirror after they purchased? Looks like they are $250 on Amazon.

On a few previous 2017 threads, some users mentioned having some trouble programming the Homelink transmitter. The flowchart/instructions in the user guide were completely useless for me, but I had no problems using the documentation that came with my garage door opener (as listed in the linked...

I have read the post on installing a new gentex homelink mirror. My question (looked through existing posts) is if anyone added one, who already has an autodim mirror. I have a 2016 cr-v ex-l. The oem autodim has a 14pin harness with 3 wires(red, black, brown). I am guessing those are switched...

Hello friends! Ive been poking around a few scrap yards and a U-pick yard looking for a home link to add to my CRV,but to my despair not much luck. Finally I gave in and Purchased one on FLEABay tonight. Removed my old unit first to check plug and pins for proper fit of course. One has to...

Having gotten used to having garage door opener buttons in the overhead console in Gen 2, which were a transplant from a similar vintage Odyssey, I missed it. It does not appear that there are other Honda/Acura vehicles that have similar sized overhead console with a sunroof switch to donate...

I've read in numerous places on the forum, and online that the Touring model has the Homelink garage door opener buttons that can be programmed to open your own garage doors. However, my 2015 Touring doesn't have this option or buttons. Does this have anything to do with a difference between the...
