Hello everyone! My 01 CRV-EX has an intermittent starting problem. Generally, it fires right up. If its been partially warmed up or driven a short distance, it really hates to start. If I crank long enough (and open the throttle, sometimes) it will eventually start after 15-20s of cranking...

CRV 1998 125,000 miles starts first shot every morning when cold. Problem started last week once I drive to the grocery store and about 20mins later it would not start. Had to crank a few times for a few minutes and it finally (started) by coming to a very slow idle ... Anyone encounter...
  7. Performance Modifications
I've not been able to fix this problem. I've replaced the plugs and wiring, ignitor, coil and the relay that's often mentioned, all without success. At this point I'm stumped. If I raise the hood the wait for 15 minutes it usually cools down enough so that I can start it.
  8. Gen 5: 2017-2021 (UK 2018-2022) CR-V
Hi, I believe this was mentioned before, but has anyone tried the following: iPhone in hotspot wifi mode with an Android tablet connected to it for wifi. Then connect the tablet to the CRV and use Waze? In theory it could work. I'm going to borrow an android tablet this weekend and try it...

I have an '05 CR-V: 1. I've noticed that the right-front wheel getting hotter that the rest of the wheels, often too hot to touch after extended driving. Is that normal? Is my vehicle leaning on that wheel as the drive wheel, making it run warmer, or is something else going on? I haven't...

Does anyone know what kind of fabric they used for the 2016 EX model? I'm kicking myself for not getting the EX-L. I have found the cloth seats feel really uncomfortable, especially during heat wave weather.

The temperature was over 100 this weekend here in the bay area. I had the air conditioner running full but the temperature of the blowing was not very cold, especially compared to the temperature output my air conditioner in my 2004 CRV would be. What have been your experiences with the air...

I posted this in the mobile electronics forum, but no replies. Maybe it's specific to our generation? My Android seems to be overheating when I plug it into the smartphone USB in the console. I've never had my phone get hot like this. Don't want to ruin my phone! And I haven't figured...

When I plug my Android (HTC One M8) into the USB slot for the Android Auto connection, it has gotten hot, at least three times. I've never had this phone get hot. It's uncomfortable to hold at first when I pick it up, along the back / battery side. Cools off pretty quickly. ( I think I've...

Hi everyone - I'm having a bit of a problem, and I was told this forum would be a great resource for help. Here's the situation: 2007 CR-V EX - a/c works fine until about 80 F, then only blows hot air despite setting (max a/c, regular a/c, fresh, recirculate). Happens almost every time. What's...

Anyone know of any options to keep the USB ports "Hot" / "On" when the CRV is not running? Was hoping Honda had an option to keep the USB port(s) "on" so cell phone can be charged when not driving. A nice option on my Can-Am Spyder BRP give you the option to keep the 12VDC outlets "On" when the...
