Found a major leak on my crv but wonder if someone could tell me what is behind this cover and if it seals w/ a gasket or RTV. It is a 3" rectangular shaped piece with 2 bolts sized 10mm I believe. And don't see any electrical attached. Just looks like a cover of sort. Thank you.

I'm going to need a new (used) engine and have been told to get a UK one. I can't find the engine ID, and notice that many photos show the black valve cover with I-VTEC - mine does not have that.
