Don't remember now how/why I landed on a Youtube video showing a guy draining water from his hotrod mufflers, but I did. So, this afternoon curiosity got the best of me and I thought I would drill a small 1/8" hole at the low point in one rear muff just to see if there was any water.....figured...

  5. Front cigarette lighter not working 2002 Gen2

    Problems & Issues
Hi Guys/Gals I've just bought a Honda CRV 2002 Gen2 and my front cigarette lighter is not working. Note the back one is working fine and I've also checked the 15Amp fuse which looks to be fine. Any ideas? Guess I should pull out my volt meter and test to see if it's live at all. Cheers Peter

I think there is a loose connection on the front cigarette lighter socket. I have taken the the ashtray out but can't find any screws holding it in. How do you remove it? Just pull? Would appreciate any tips if possible. It has blown the fuse and the rear one doesn't work either. TIA.

This happened a couple of years ago and I've just ignored it, but want to fix it now. (it's cold outside!) 2000 CR-V. The cigarette lighter, overhead light, door light and the heater stopped working at the same time. The heater fan works fine, but no heat. I assumed it was a fuse, but as far...

    Gen 2: 2002-2006 CR-V
I like to charge my cell phone even when the car is off (surpise there I am sure) but on the 2005 CR-V as peopel probably already know the car will not provide power to the 12V plug unless the key is set an 'accessory'. Is there an easy way to make it so I can get power to the 12V outlet...
