I have a 2007 CR-V, LX model. I love the car, but it's driving me a little crazy with the autolock feature. Every time I start to roll from a stop, all five doors lock. Inevitably I end up outside in the rain, trying to open the rear hatch, only to find it locked.
Is there any way to...
I have noticed that my passenger side doors are not locked and it appears to happen after I have opened the hatch, closed it and walked away from the vehicle.
When I return and not touch the front handles as they are set to auto open the front doors and I do have the key fob with me, the...
Just purchased a 2007 Honda CRV EX-L with low miles and really like it. Except we want to turn of horn honk when locking doors from the remote. Is it possible for us to make this change or is it a dealer job?
I have the CRV in India and has been very sparingly used. It has just done 46000 KMs
With remote and its key all doors are opening and closing except the hatchback door. I just want to lock it manually.
I’ve been dealing with his for a couple of weeks and don’t know how to move forward.
I tried to install a backup camera and and new 2din head unit.
After going over the wiring install I got the head unit to work, even though the camera never worked. While troubleshooting I disconnected...
Out of the blue our 2015 wouldn't flash the lights when we locked the car but the lights flash when we unlock the car. Also, the "beep" doesn't sound when we press the lock button on the remote twice.
I have just bought a 2004 (Petrol, manual) CRV with remote central locking, which appears to work correctly. I wish that when it pulled away the car would lock for security reasons.
Should this happen and mine has a fault or am I not doing something that I should. There are no obvious...
Hi. My newly aquired 2003 CRV (Australian model, no alarm fitted) does not flash the indicators when remotely locking or unlocking the car. Is that a standard feature, or a repairable fault eg fuse gone?
Thanks Andrew R.
Has anyone figured out a way to lock the doors with the engine running? I'd like to be able to leave it running and run inside somewhere but lock the doors. The only hack I have come up with is to turn off the engine, exit and lock the car, and then hit the automatic start button.
I got a 2001 CRV for 'cheap and dirty' transportation, and it is working fine.
However locking/unlocking the car is an exercise in futility. Part power works/part does not.
I feel if I could just disable the driver's side door actuator, I could just use the key and forget about power locks...
So as the title says, I'm having trouble with this part of my work. I have all the exhaust fasteners off bar one.
I fear I've stripped this nut out, and I am at the end of my rope with the whole thing. I've heated it, and tried hammering a slightly smaller socket on, but nothing has worked so...
Ok, recently bought a 2017 CRV EX-L and when
I lock the doors the car does not make any
Sound so I have to press the lock button on
The remote several times to make sure is locked
Does anyone knows how to change this so
That when I lock the doors it make some kind
Firstly, I am not a car thief.
I am considering purchasing a 2012 CRV.
My risk of theft is negligible; my risk of accidentally leaves keys in a self-locking car, or triggering the alarm accidentally, is high.
So for my purposes
-I never want the alarm to activate, ever.
-I never want the...
I remember once after you park, turn off engine, open the door, get off the car, shut the door, then after certain period of time (10 seconds?), the car should lock by itself, that way you don't have to push the remote to lock manually. Is this correct?
Since some time, my car won't lock by...
I purchased a 2000 CR-V sport yesterday.
The central locking does not work with the key or the remote. According to the manual I have the fuse for the central locking is also
the one for the automatic sunroof. This fuse is ok, does anybody out there know if there is another fuse for...
Has anyone come across an aftermarket roof rack black plastic cover that can be locked? The Honda product does not come with a locking mechanism. Presume that since the bolts used to secure the rails to the roof require an Allen wrench it is less likely that someone could easily remove the rack...
