  1. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
Anyone know why the crv was designed this way? Is it common for vehicles to be like this? Just went through a car wash and found it very difficult to clean all the mud off the inside of the wheel wells. They seem to be lined with carpet, and not just a smooth plastic, the mud sticks to it...
  2. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
I would like to say that my ride on the gen 5 forum was fun, but I can't. :) With that out of the way, I went and experienced the 2019 RDX (A-Spec) today. Awesome vehicle! It's everything I liked about the gen 5 CR-V, minus the 1.5l turbo. Not to mention having a pano roof (in the US), 10 speed...
  3. Trading Area
Custom made tail light guards for 97-01 Honda CRV. The original brand of guards are discontinued and now it seems they're in high demand, so I figured I'd offer a different option. The price is $125 a set shipped to lower 48 US states or $100 picked up in the Portland,Oregon area. PayPal...
  4. Shopping & Test Driving
I was wondering where the CRV's are made. Somewhere I read that they're mostly made in the U.S. for the U.S. market. What years are made here if that's the case? Thanks :)

So my girlfriend needed her first car, so we bought a used 99 crv in great condition. Except for what I now learned is a incredibly common problem with this model. The engine threw out misfire codes and we had it diagnosed. Cylinder 3 is essentially boned. 1 2 4 are fine and within...
  8. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
I know CRV's are made in Canada and Indiana. I just assumed that the Canadian ones stayed in Canada and The Indiana ones were for the American market. Window sticker on my new CRV says Made in Canada. Bought in Pennsylvania. Just suprised me. Car is perfect.
  9. Brakes, Tires, Wheels, Steering & Suspension
I just got the KYB strut assemblies because I thought they were made in JAPAN and they say they were made in Malaysia whaaaaaat the heck.
  10. Brakes, Tires, Wheels, Steering & Suspension
I cannot find any aftermarket manufacturer of strut assemblies for a UK made 2006 CRV. The VIN number for mine starts with SHSRD.... Many aftermarket manufacturers state their strut assemblies for the 2006 CRV will not fit a UK made CRV. Does anyone know what the difference is between the...
  11. Rails, Roof Racks, Hitches, & Towing
I'm installing a home made roof rack on my 2011 CRV. It's a design I found on this forum. The 4 mounting areas contain 2 bare "studs" and a stud with a nut on it. These studs have to be removed and replaced with bolts through my rack. How do you remove these studs ? I haven't tried to take them...
  12. Performance Modifications
This summer I will be towing a small camper cross country for my honeymoon. The camper sits at the very limit of the CR-V's towing limit. What should be my plan of attack for upgrading/modifying? Chips? After market parts? Looking for a little guidance.
  13. Greetings & Introductions
Hello everyone! I recently had a problem with my 2012 CRV that some members helped me out with, but I realized that I never introduced myself. About a year ago I got my first CRV after my company truck of 10 years was taken away due to the current oilfield. Luckily I was able to find a...
  14. Gen 3: 2007-2011 (UK 2007-2012) CR-V
Hi, I recently bought a 2009 Honda CRV and I can not seem to find the color code. The sticker on the door does not match the US Counterparts from what I can gather. I was wondering if someone could please help me. The CRV was in excellent condition with only 63k KM, but it had one fault and that...
