  2. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
Wouldn't it be nice to know how many on this forum: Have an oil/gas issue? Don't have an oil/gas issue? Had an issue and had it fixed? Had an issue and the fix did not work? Bought a 2019 and have an oil/gas issue? Bought a 2019 and have no oil/gas issue? And any other meaningful detailed...
  3. Miscellaneous / General CR-V Discussions
A nice driver of a Mazda V6 Tribute decided his car was in love with mine and kissed my rear bumper in stop/go traffic yesterday afternoon. The damage doesn't look much, however, plastic can bend and bounce back into shape leaving metal damage underneath. The guy asked me if I had a piece of...
  4. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
Features I like but didn't understand, at first, about my CRV: 1. When you turn on the windshield wipers, the rear wiper comes on as well, for about three wipes, and then shuts off. 2. When you are travelling below 25 MPH or even if you are stopped at an intersection, you can set the adaptive...
  5. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FBDHNVE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Just received this picnic blanket to use as a cargo mat in my 2017 CRV. One side is soft and the other a hard durable nylon shell. Fits nicely with the rear seats folded down, plus it is water-resistant...
  6. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
On a previous vehicle that stored your phone contacts, as the CR-V does, you could choose a contact under Nav and it would use that as your destination. I have not seen that ability in the CR-V but would sure be nice.

  11. Shopping & Test Driving
I was checking out Honda's website and the 2015 CRV is there now with all the features. I kind of regret buying a 14' now, but it is what it is. Some of the features I would have liked on my 14 are: 1) Push button start capability now, no key required, just the fob/remote 2) Power liftgate on...

  14. Brakes, Tires, Wheels, Steering & Suspension
If tire manufacturers would supply us with performance information for their tires that was more useful. How about- New- 1/2 tread- and just before they hit the wear bars- I see alot of posts about tires being good when new but horrible in 8-10 or 15k miles. KO
  15. Audio, Sat-Nav & Mobile Electronics
So yesterday I ripped all of the factory audio equipment out of my CRV and installed a full replacement setup. It started with me saying "Wow, I really wish I could hook an iPod up to this car without using a tape adapter" and cascaded into "Well, I'll need new speakers so I don't underpower the...
  16. Accessories
I got tired of the old, faded front bumper cover on my CR-V, so I bought a replacement on eBay for $29 + $70 shipping. The seller I got it from (qualitydiscountcarparts) sells CAPA-certified parts and has a 99.4% feedback rating on 33,000+ items sold, so I took a chance. The cover I received was...
