2006 Honda CRV 197K miles
1st time the A/C stopped working
Fans work, checked fuses/relay
Ran self-diagnose test no DTC code
Compressor clutch only turns 1/4 counterclockwise
My conclusion is need to replace AC compressor and clutch. Any other thoughts?
My question is can I drive it or does...
So I have this 3rd gen CR-V which has few issues and the biggest one at the moment is the noise which becomes obvious at around 15mph.
It sounds like a bad wheel bearing but frequency is much lower.
I tried to do some diagnostics and found:
This noise does not depend on engine speed...
My 2011 blows cold air when the AC is on. But today I had the car parked with the AC on, and when I got out of the car, I heard a squeaking noise. The noise seemed to last whenever the clutch was engaged and everything revved up, but then it would stop when it disengaged. I can't hear the noise...
I've attached the video below, I only hear this weird rattling noise whenever I'm in idle, otherwise while driving I never hear anything not even at lower speeds and rpms.
I've also changed my rear differential fluid within the last 500 miles.
Is this anything to worry about? Should I get it...
Hi, I took delivery of a 2009 honda crv 2.0 automatic VTEC EX yesterday from a Honda Dealer
The car has done 73k miles has full honda history and comes with a 14 day money back promise and
1 year Honda warranty on major parts. It has just had a full service and MOT before being delivered
When we put the parking brake on, occasionally a few seconds afterwards the vehicle lets out a high pitched groan that lasts about 5 seconds. It almost sounds like opening a squeaky door. The vehicle doesn't move or adjust, just makes noise. Anybody have any ideas?
2013 CR-V EX-L about 85,000 miles. I get a wobbling noise or rhythmic sound that changes with the speed of the car. I've had suspension parts (bushings mostly) checked, rebalanced the tires and 4 wheel alignment. No improvement. A mechanic, myself and a neighbor don't feel the shocks are worn...
So recently I took my 2015 CRV Touring in for a service and they changed the cabin air filter (behind the glove box). I was on a road trip and drove approximately 200-300 miles without issue. I switched over to being the passenger on a low speed limit road and realized that it was hard to reopen...
wired noise cominngg out of the timing chain area
obviusly i thought chain set need to be replaced since its running now on 241000 km

Just bought a 2017 Touring w/30K miles. It required two repairs right away: a defective blower motor and a knocking noise in the dashboard which turned out to be a spring which was not seated properly. My main concern, though, is a noise when accelerating. The best way to describe it that it...
2017 CRV, Worst noise from left front wheel between 40 to 50 mph, dealer not able to predict, simply they said tier noise. Did tire rotation and same noise continuing. I raised my concerns to Honda company they are not considering, any one faced this type of issue?
In my 2018 EX I notice that when I'm pushing in the brake pedal to brake I can sometimes hear a creaking noise, like if you twist plastic. It is somewhere in front of me, but I can't really pinpoint where it's coming from. Anyone else notice this?
I have 2019 EXL AWD
Has anyone heard a 1 second groan noise from pulling the driver side inside door lever after shutting off the car? I've heard it twice...wonder if anyone has experienced this.
Sorry if something like this has been discussed, I searched and couldn't find anything. Recently we've developed a weird clicking/buzzing sound from the left vent area when I hit certain bumps. Doesn't matter if the fan is running or not...almost sounds like a June bug flutters it's wings in...
Yesterday I noticed a whistling or humming noise coming from the engine area when driving 70-80 MPH. Is this normal? The car has a little over 500 miles on it. Just want to make sure all is well or to see if any of you have heard this?
