2000 CRV Radiator fans only work when A/C is on.
Fuses OK ,replaced relays, replaced fan sensor by thermostat.
Sensor has continuity when put in hot water
They will run if jumped at sensor connector.
Any ideas? Am I missing something?
Hi, I have an RD1.
I bought new sensors (thermo switch & fan/radiator fan switch), the relays are good (even switched them around).
But yet the vehicle is still overheating if you drive it a little hard. The fan is kicking in 'late'.

Hi, I have a 2008 crv Es automatic. I am getting an overheating smell, but the temperature gauge is reading just under the normal.
There does not appear to be any water leaking out anywhere.

My 04 CRV is overheating. The CEL is on with three codes... PO420 (big surprise there...) PO339 and PO117. Not sure if 420 & 339 are related to overheating, but obviously 117 is. The radiator fan is running. The heat is not working. The coolant was gone, but it still overheats...
I have seen a couple of videos on the 2017 that show the electronic louvers that close when the car is at high speed and low temps to block the radiator in order to reduce drag at high speeds, but I have not seen any mention of it on the 2018.
I personally kind of thought this might be a bad...

I'm a new owner of an old 1998 CRV.
Sadly some problems came up.. my biggest problem now, is that my car overheats. Today i replaced the radiateur, to hopefully fix the problem. With a few testdrives it still turned out that not everything was fixed. And now i'm clueless...
