anyone having trouble with dead short on passenger front power window. seems to be dead short blowing fuse. motor works. could it be as simple as a switch on the drivers side. looking at inside panel of both doors trying to find short
- The window worked with a little slowness, then one day it just didn't work for about 10 minutes and then it worked again after that. Now a few days later, it just stopped working all together again. Now, I haven't been able to get it to work since. I don;t believe it's a motor...
This issue has doubtless been addressed before, but here goes. I have an X-reg CR-V (2001 I think) and just recently, all four power windows have stopped working completely. I have checked the fuses and all seem to be intact. I have also removed the driver side door panel but can't find...
A couple of weeks ago, the radio in my CRV stopped working altogether, there is no power to it.
I checked the fuses and nothing was blown.
About a week later, all windows other than the drivers side stopped working altogether then the next day, the drivers side power window stopped...
Just pulled in from a short drive, and the door control power locks and windows, on all doors, do not function anymore.
I checked the fuses, but all are intact. I haven't called the dealer yet, but I assume this is a wiring issue.
Is there a switch or relay that controls both these...
I own a 2nd hand 98 CR-V.
On the driver's side, when I switch down the button to either go up or down, I have to keep it pushed until it completes closing/opening.
I know this should be automatic for the driver's side - you don't need to hold it all the way.
What can be wrong with this?
