  2. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
I gave my impressions on the RAV4 forum but I'll post it here in case anyone is interested. By the way, the competitor I drove was a CX-5 turbo which I felt was better than the CR-V in terms of engine performance and refinement.

  4. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
Well after trading in my 2017 crv ex on a 2018 rav4 adventure all I can say is I couldn't be happier. Now for some comparisons Cost paid $1000 more for the rav4, so for people who think Toyota is selling more rav4's than crv's cause of cost guess again. Interior and exterior fit and finish...

have narrowed my choice to these two vehicles. CRV owners tell me why I should buy the CRV. One huge thing the CRV doesn't have is the all around camera which I have become spoiled with on my Rogue. However a Rogue will not be my next vehicle to say the least..

Looks like the 2019 will up the game, moving to the Camry platform and new styling. The Hybrid version could be a game changer since the current Camry gets 47 mpg. Anything close and I will have a low mileage CRV available...

I guess we all knew it was coming, but I finally started to see some YouTube videos about Toyota's new 2.0L engine and transmission for 2019. Specification source for those that are interested. https://newsroom.toyota.co.jp/en/powertrain2018/engine/ Rob
  9. Greetings & Introductions
Hello everyone, First, a thanks to the CR-V Owners' Club folks to running this, as my research here is a big part of the reason we bought our 2017 CR-V instead of a RAV4. (My parents and brother have been 25-year Toyota folk and have firm opinions.) Second, it's only been a few days, but we're...
  10. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
Saw the new Toyota cuv today. Dealer had one on turntable at their lot. Not sure what they are calling it but it is their version of the HRV. I understand Nissan is coming out with one as well. It looked pretty sharp, in fact from a distance better than the Honda. Kinda like a 5 door Civic SI...
  11. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
http://www.motortrend.com/news/2017-honda-cr-v-or-2017-toyota-rav4/ Here is an interesting article comparing the two cars. Long story short, CR-V is the better car (better driving dynamics, acceleration, interior space, more modern look, etc). It's funny they praise Toyota for having better...

My wife and I are in the process of replacing both of our vehicles and we have been looking at the CR-V, RAV4, and the Tucson so I thought it might be helpful to write down my thoughts about each one and maybe it will also help someone else. I like the CR-V and Tucson and she likes the RAV4 and...
  13. Shopping & Test Driving
Hello all, I am in the market for a new SUV and test drove 3 new models yesterday: the Honda CRV, Nissan Rogue, and the Mazda CX-5. Each SUV had good and bad points. Overall, I want to go with the CRV but I had one problem with it. Sitting in the drivers seat was very uncomfortable. I tried...
