I gave my impressions on the RAV4 forum but I'll post it here in case anyone is interested. By the way, the competitor I drove was a CX-5 turbo which I felt was better than the CR-V in terms of engine performance and refinement.

have narrowed my choice to these two vehicles. CRV owners tell me why I should buy the CRV. One huge thing the CRV doesn't have is the all around camera which I have become spoiled with on my Rogue. However a Rogue will not be my next vehicle to say the least..

Looks like the 2019 will up the game, moving to the Camry platform and new styling. The Hybrid version could be a game changer since the current Camry gets 47 mpg. Anything close and I will have a low mileage CRV available...
