  1. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
I am considering a CR-V Touring and saw this ad: It seems great at first with low-mileage, but then you realise, in the description, that this is ex-lemon car, returned to Honda due to the oil dilution issues. But then it says, it has...

I hope our members who live in our 50th State are safe, and able to ride out the Hurricane with little or no damage to life or property. We are all thinking of you...please stay safe and stay in touch, if able.
  3. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
I'd like to see how the collision mitigation braking system works, if there is a way to do so without risking damage to the car or other property or a person. Does anyone know of a practical way to do this? That is, how could I trigger the CMBS without actually risking a collision? Of course I'd...
  4. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
I use to use Seafoam regularly on my 2007 Trailblazer, including the vacuum line. I am not sure if that product is safe to use on these turbo engines? I don't want to use it now, as my CR-V only has 7800 miles on it, but I would consider it once I'm at 25K miles. Any thoughts?
  5. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
Has anyone put a small safe in their CR-V? Is there one that will fit under a seat? And if so, anyway to attach it without removing the seat? I'd prefer not to take up a piece of the cargo area with something that will be an obstacle to loading items (e.g. making the floor no longer flat and...

I have a 2013 2wd CRV. We were driving about 70 on the freeway and somebody decided to cut into our lane suddenly. I panic braked; the traction control came on and we decelerated so hard I couldn’t believe it. No tire squeal, no sliding, no side to side play on the wheel. Way to go Honda! Any...
  7. Gen 1: 1996-2001 (UK 1995-2001) CR-V
Hello, Recently I was driving my CRV and it's a 4WD and suddenly I heard a big clank then scraping underneath. I looked out my rear view mirror and noticed a long pipe on the middle of the road, I was able to retrieve it safely and it turned out to be the drive shaft, some liquid was pouring...
  8. Gen 2: 2002-2006 (UK 2002-2007) CR-V
So I've never done anything by myself related to my honda. But right now I have to save a little money so I'm trying to spend as little as possible. I've been reading about all the things you should test before assuming you have a bad fuel pump but the thing is that a mechanic just brought a...

  10. Gen 4: 2012-2016 (UK 2012-2017) CR-V
We just purchased a '15 CRV Touring and love it. The ACC and ALKS systems are working great! Feels like magic. I'm wondering if anyone knows a safe way to test the CMBS (automatic braking) system without risking hitting something. :) I'm not willing to wait long enough for the system to...
  11. Gen 4: 2012-2016 (UK 2012-2017) CR-V
Hello everyone. I did a search but I can't really find a definitive answer. I have a 2015 CR-V but I think the jack points would be the same as a 2014. Anyway the top of the scissors jack that came with the vehicle is relatively flat but the manual says to place it under a 3 inch wide x 1 inch...
  12. Performance Modifications
I bought this 2001 CRV back in September. It has < 80,000 miles on it, but I'm pretty sure it sat somewhere for a while, a result of that being a failed rear U-joint. Right now, my drive shaft is hanging on to the rusted joint and I'm getting some bad whirring while I'm on the road...
