I'm new to this forum, but not to the vast knowledge of the community contained in the community via forums. I was changing the oil on my 2004 Honda CR-V a few days ago and saw a plug dangling from the backside of the engine. It sits to the right of the oil filter (if you're...
Had a short in the sensor... the VSA, ABS lights are on. Bought a new sensor but I can't get the old one out of the hub. Mechanic said that the only way to get it out is to take the suspension apart and drill it from the other side. What a pain... I thought about drilling it from the top...
I have a 2011 Honda CRV (SE) with about 72K miles. About 7 months ago, the dealer flushed and changed the ATF for me. However, I just noticed today (by using dip stick) that the ATF level was super low. Just curious, is there a "sensor" or something with "Gen 3" CRV, that it would actually...
I have a honda crv 2005 and on Autozone told me the Oxygen Sensor problem with the scanner they use to detect the light on my dashboard
Do anybody have this same problem, Oxygen sensor which cost about $170. wow
any ideas before proceeding with this????
THE CODE WAS P0135
Changes a flat and the ABS,VSA and Electrical power steering light stay on. Dealer reset but still coming on. What may be wrong? Did not start until after. They replaced the stem. Could that be the issue?
2004 CRV EX, CEL came on, which pointed back to the pre cat 02. Replaced it with the Denso 234-9005 which after research, appears to be the Denso replacement for the factory sensor.
I drive about 32 miles per day, 20 of those miles are freeway miles. Prior to the CEL and sensor replacement...
I guess I hadn’t noticed this before but while detailing my ‘18 Touring I noticed that the light sensor in the middle of the dash (just forward of speaker) looks like it is either delaminating or has some manufacturers sticky stuff on it. Have any of you run into this on your CR-V?
just got an OBD Fusion app, and of course had to use it. Shows on the CRV that sensor 1 and sensor 2 have different voltage reading, both around 2- 9 I think. My F150 rating are sensor 1 anywhere from .9 to .69, sensor 2 stay about 69-72. What readings should I be seeing if all is okay?
So in the past, anytime i've upgraded the wheels on our Honda/Acura we just swap over the sensors from the existing wheels.
On the new CRV I know they have the indirect tpms version of monitoring, if i decided to go with a different wheel combo does anything else need to be done other than...
anyone know how low the tire has to be to kick on..I cant find nothing in the manual except this..
Detects a change in tire conditions and
overall dimensions due to decrease in tire
so it goes by the size of tire?....was 9 lbs low and pulled to the right, but no TPS light?
I have a 2001 CRV LX. I am trying to replace the rear O2 sensor. I realize the connector is behind the rubber grommet but when I remove the grommet, the cable gets tight before I can get the plug thru the hole. Do I just keep pulling on the cable or do I need to try some other way of getting...
I was thinking about cleaning the throttle body and MAF sensor, if there is one. I tried looking in my car for it near the throttle body, but can't find it. I look on the internet for a diagram of the throttle body, but no listing of a MAF. There is a MAP, but it's not like the MAF.
Hello. I am testing the wiring at my TPS and finding I do not have power coming to my red/black wire. I am getting the 5V reference and have good ground. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or point me to the source of the 12v power? I'm pretty sure it will be at the PCM but which pin?
