  1. Gen 4: 2012-2016 (UK 2012-2017) CR-V
Hi folks I done an oil change recently and noticed there was no plate to unscrew to access the sump and oil filter. There is the plastic surrounding and for the life of me I can’t find the model number. I have approached some Honda dealers in the UK, two are stating that the Honda CR-V SR...
  2. Gen 5: 2017-2021 (UK 2018-2022) CR-V
Hi All I was doing one of my first DIY oil changes, and when i removed the splash shield I found mysterious loose part resting on top of it: a plastic disc with a tube through the center that apparently dropped from somewhere up in the engine bay. How long it's been there, where it came from...
  3. Gen 5: 2017-2021 (UK 2018-2022) CR-V
Has anyone else had issues with the tin splash shield that conceals the underside of the engine crumple and start to break off after driving through puddles of water? This is the second time I've had this issue. The first time it broke I figured I hit a spot of water on the road and it tore...

Is 2015 CRV supposed to have an under engine splash shield?
  5. Gen 3: 2007-2011 (UK 2008-2012) CR-V
Hey all, I started having a sort of raspy rattle coming from the front of the car this morning. It seems to be coming from under the heat shield. The noise raises in pitch when accelerating and shifting gears. I have video but I am not sure how to post it or if my membership allows it. It...

Anyone put a bug/ rock shield on the hood to protect the hood? I've seen a couple different kinds but would like to see them on a CRV. Pictures would be greatly appreciated.

I tried the Lund Interceptor, it's molding tabs are not molded well to fit in between the rubber seal and the hood. The rubber seal clips come out and I need to find something better. Any recommendations.
  9. Gen 1: 1996-2001 (UK 1995-2001) CR-V
Does anyone know the part number, specifications or where to get the clips that hold the engine splash shield on? This is the one underneath the front where you have to take off the guard bar. I'd rather not pay the $4 each price that the dealer is likely to charge. Thanks.

I have just purchased the above bug shield which does fit a 2015 CRV EX and am awaiting delivery. Last week I took a look at the hood and saw there was a rubber flange on the inside and covering the three holes where the mounting fasteners would go. The Lund has three attachment points and comes...

Planning to replace the catalytic converter heat shield soon to get rid of a rattle that's developed. Already have all the parts, just looking for a free weekend. Just wondering, does the O2 sensor need to be removed in order to get the old heat shield off? Or is there a way to easily unplug...

I am trying to remove the splash shield but it has these bolts, that I do not know how to remove. Can someone guide me in the right direction to remove these bolts? It is Part Number: 90143-TL0-000 Part #19 in the image...

Looking for opinions and feedback on the Honda shield protection plan and Honda plus warranty services. I do a lot of driving for work and easily do 35-40,000 mms per year. Trying to decide if it is worth the extra $$$ to invest in any of these protection services. Prices would be...

I would like to put a bug shield on the hood (wind deflector) is there an aftermarket one. I hate to have the dealer do it. I want something that does not require drilling or tapping and can be removed for waxing. Is there such a thing for 2010. Any help would be great

The hose came off of the drivers side nozzle, but the entire nozzle is enclosed by a casing. How do I get to the nozzle to put the hose back on?

I'm reserving this posting space for a project I'm undertaking tomorrow that seems brilliant that I got an idea for off the Ford Truck forums. So I'm going to slightly re-create it, But I am going to make an intake heat shield for a cold air/short ram intake that looks like an OEM piece. Check...

So, I needed to remake my home-made heat shield because I was discouraged that the only idea I came up with at the time looked pretty much like a cold air box. I wanted it to be more conical and also (the first one was held together with duct tape and ugly) it was a prototype just for fit test...
