Trying to wire in XM into the wifes CR-V, and I usually can get easy acces to the 12V sockets in cars, and I tap off of that to get a switched 12V signal for an accesory socket. This one doesn't seem as direct as most cars.
Can anyone point my in the direction where I can get a switched 12v...
Where has Honda put the On-Board-Diagnostic version 2 (OBD2 or OBD II) connector inside the car please?
I am wanting to plug in a Scan Gauge II.

Is there any way (an easy way) to modify the rear socket to be live all the time so you don't have to have the key in the ignition? Will that void any warranties (still have some original warranty then a certified warranty after that)? Would any dealer be willing to do it?
