  1. Gen 1: 1996-2001 (UK 1995-2001) CR-V
    I can replace my tailgate(the bottom metal part that swings out) gas strut with an aftermarket strut and diy making it fit but I have no idea how strong the it needs to be becuase my CRV came with the strut worn out, they come with an Mpa or Nm rating or probably similar in psi, a 250Nm strut...

    I have several approximately 5 foot tall shrubs (arborvitaes) that need to be pulled out. I am debating about using the CRV and a tow strap but I am nervous this would damage the CVT transmission. What do you guys think?
