  1. Gen 4: 2012-2016 (UK 2012-2017) CR-V
Something has chewed this piece on my 2012 CRV gas tank. Took it to the dealer and was told this was not an individual piece, but instead part of the tank. Was told it could be fixed, via entire tank replacement to the tune of $1,600 +tax ($700 parts the rest labor) Three questions: 1) what...
  2. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
Just wanted to share some of the upgrades i've done so far. Many more to come!
  3. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
There's a gas station near me that just opened and carries ethanol-free gas. It's more expensive than regular, but is there any benefit to running it through the latest CRV models? I've read you can get better gas mileage. I'm about to go on a road trip and was thinking about filling up with...
  4. Gen 1: 1996-2001 (UK 1995-2001) CR-V
The Gen 1's fuel tank capacity is 58L according to the manual and by my estimation the fuel reserve is around 6L. By reserve tank I mean the remaining capacity when the red low fuel warning light comes on. Anyone have info to confirm that?
  5. Gen 1: 1996-2001 (UK 1995-2001) CR-V
I have a 97 CR-V with 36,000 on it. (That's not a typo, it's low mileage) I rarely take it on highways and when I tried last month it would not go over 30-35mph and the engine was not running well. I took the CR-V to a quick lube place for an oil change and they cleaned the fuel injectors and...
  6. Gen 2: 2002-2006 (UK 2002-2007) CR-V
Is there any way I can increase my fuel capacity such as another tank? I pull a light trailer to Colorado from Iowa. I have a 2002 with 14 gallons capacity.
  7. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
I use to use Seafoam regularly on my 2007 Trailblazer, including the vacuum line. I am not sure if that product is safe to use on these turbo engines? I don't want to use it now, as my CR-V only has 7800 miles on it, but I would consider it once I'm at 25K miles. Any thoughts?
  8. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
Hi, i recently purchsed a 2017 CRV Ex. I notice that when I fill my tank from very ear empty I am only getting about 11 3/4 gallons of gas. Seems like not enough. It's supposed to have a 14 g tank. Where are s the other 2 gallons? Is it an emergency reserve for after you go below E?
  9. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
FINAL UPDATE*** Thought I ditched you guys didn’t you. Anyhow, after using a test sample of 6 refuels trying a methodology of: assuming the gas is pumping too fast, or the dispenser nozzle is too long, or the CRV’s gas pipe is at an angle at which is prone to giving false readings I have...
  10. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
Not sure any one noticed this issue. The topless cap could not seal the fuel tank properly. Last week I was out of town and parked my CRV in my garage, the CRV was the only vehicle in the garage. The garage door kept closed for a week. When I went home and got into the garage, there's very strong...
  11. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
I bought a 2017 CR-V LX a couple of weeks ago and have filled the tank twice. Both times I drove it until the gas light came on (and then some) and both times I was only able to put 10-11 gallons in. The specs say the tank should hold 14 gallons but doesn't make sense that I can only put 10 in...
