  1. Gen 2: 2002-2006 (UK 2002-2007) CR-V
Hi guys. I have a 2003 crv with 200k miles and automatic transmission. I have this problem when the car takes too long to shift to a higher gear. I usually have to coast right before it shifts or it will rev and jerk forward violently. Do you guys have any solution to this problem?
  2. Gen 4: 2012-2016 (UK 2012-2017) CR-V
Cliff notes: very babied SE 2016 2WD with 30k miles - vibration in drive at a traffic light, sluggish acceleration - fluid looked and smelled bad and had LOTS of metal shavings in it. After only 1 drain/refill vibration is gone and acceleration improved. Background: 2016 SE 2WD, 29500 miles...
  3. Gen 1: 1996-2001 (UK 1995-2001) CR-V
I have a '97 cr-v AWD AT with 250k miles. I replaced the cv axels and in doing so drained the transaxle. My local parts store said that if I drained the whole system including the torque converter I'd need 8 quarts but for just axles it only needs 3. So I put 3 quarts in and let the car run in...

  5. Rails, Roof Racks, Hitches, & Towing
I'm going to be towing a small popup with my 2013 CRV, and was considering putting a transmission cooler on it. However, after poking my nose around the engine bay, for the life of me I can't find the lines where the transmission fluid enters or exits the radiator. All I can find are the two...
  6. Miscellaneous / General CR-V Discussions
Has anyone had an experience with swapping out an automatic transmission for a standard in a 2000 CR-V? Are there any issues that may nullify this idea? Thanks!
  7. Rails, Roof Racks, Hitches, & Towing
Hi, I'm undecided between getting a MT or AT CR-V. One of the factors is that we will be towing our catamaran and a light travel trailer. Nothing over 1500 lbs. Is the manual transmission preferable to the automatic one, when it comes to towing? Thanks!
