Hi all, I’m really enjoying my two week old AWD EL-L. It’s the first new car I’ve ever had and Honda’s reputation for reliability was a big draw. Unfortunately I’ve been experiencing this rattle/creek noise. It always happens around the same part of my commute. I’m driving about 75 on a...

Ok here is a new one/thread i think? 17 EX 1500 miles, love to death. Scenario: haven't driven/started it in say 5 hours. I go out to get something out of it and i hear this constant buzz/drone outside car and underneath it would appear. (you can't hear from inside vehicle) i crawl under it...

Hello all, I have a rattling sound coming from the black plastic cover that is under my '09. The cover runs from the drivers side to the center of the car, and from the middle of the front door to the middle of the rear door. I had it in at Honda for a state inspection, oil change, and tire...

First off this is my girlfriends car. I went to change her oil when I saw a hose that wasnt connected on one end and it drips water. I was told this is the AC hose. but seems weird. I took a few photos so I could see if I can get some answers.

I need to run a Micro USB cable from the fusebox by the driver's feet to the rear lift gate to power a dash cam. The most direct route is underneath the headliner. Has anyone attempted to run cabling underneath their late model (2012 or newer) CR-V headliner? If so, how difficult was it? Also...

My assumption is that thingy hanging down is supposed to be there to protect the catalytic converter or muffler, right in back of it, from road debris?
  8. Gen 1: 1996-2001 (UK 1995-2001) CR-V
I just purchased a 1998 Honda CR-V last weekend with 107,000 miles on the odometer that was owned by, are you ready for this, a little old lady. It appears that she kept it very well maintained and traded it in on a new CR-V. A couple of days ago it started to develop a rattle underneath that...

I'm wondering if the retainer clips that hold the rear bumper cover require any special technique to remove them. Is it a clip inside a clip? Or, do I just pry them out like "Christmas tree retainers" on american cars? Better to ask then to bust them all up. The car is an '09 LX.
  10. Miscellaneous / General CR-V Discussions
Yesterday I did my weekly under the hood check and suddenly got curious about the infamous rear differential that we hear so much about. So I slid under the Pearl’s keester and had a look. Kind of scary under there! Bear in mind that I am dinosaur with a vehicular technological mindset...
