Hello All Newbie here, had my 2010 CRV EX 2.0 Petrol Auto for 2 weeks now and love it. Converted from a BMW 320D Now, I cannot find (maybe not searched for correct question) any info on removing the drivers vanity mirror unit. I suppose its a common fault in that the light does not come on...

One of the turn-offs on this gen was the lack of lighted vanity mirrors. A project on the list is to upgrade" these with lighted vanity mirrors. Anyone had success in doing this? I can figure the wiring out, just curious if any lighted vanity mirrors was a direct fit from another Honda/Acura...

I have less than 20 days to come up with a vanity plate for my CR-V... I thought about using "J3SSI3" (Jessie) or playing off of the CRAVE commercials for the CR-V, such as "CRAVIT" or "CRAVIN" or "IMCRVN"... I'm a scrapbooker, but my hubby won't let me use anything related to it! haha...

I was surprised that in the EX-L model (Top of the line) there was no courtesy light on the vanity mirror... Are they just being cheap in order to be able to accommodate side curtain airbags or trying to leave those "luxury" features for the Acura RDX?
