  1. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
I noticed that at least in Canada some Vin #,s get the N60 fix and some get the N61 fix. Has anyone determined why different vin#s get different Fixes. Probably was posted and I missed it. Also is it based on whether the owner had low heat, oil dilution or both? Thanks
  2. Gen 4: 2012-2016 (UK 2012-2017) CR-V
I have been looking for an AWD CR-V and reading up on them. Thank you to the forum members for helping with my education! I have come across 2 cars (both 2012) that have the AWD badging at the back, but when I put the VIN in the Honda Tech VIN Decoder they come up as 4WD. Maybe this is something...

Can someone point me towards a website that will provide all the details to decode the VIN of the CR-V built in the US assembly locations? The information on this website appears dated. https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Vehicle_Identification_Numbers_(VIN_codes)/Honda/VIN_Codes I'm looking for a...

HI all, I want to add my new Honda CRV EX 2017 (AT) to my MyHonda app. It requires my VIN and Engine Number. Does anyone know where these can be found? and how many digits I should be looking for (eg are they 10 characters in length)? Thanks
  9. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
I notice that a local Virginia dealer has several CRV (LX, EX, EXL Navi) with a VIN that begins with 7FA. Googling that prefix indicates that number is not US or Canada; it indicates that those cars were manufactured in Oceania. Is that not unusual for a US dealer. I thought the CRV sold here...

I bought a 2002 CR-V two months ago. I checked the VIN, and it listed it as an EX model. However, it didn't seem to have any of the EX's features. I wondered if it was a weird Canadian thing -- maybe the features were standard on the EX in the US, but not necessarily in Canada. Regardless, the...

We are scheduled to pick up our new 2015 CR-V touring model tomorrow. When the dealer gave the VIN I ran it through Vindecoder.net and they say that the car is "EX-L AWD w/RES" ??? Should I be concerned or is this just the way HONDA codes their VINS?? The partial VIN (without the sequence...
  13. Accessories
Good day to All, I have a 2006 "S" VIN CR-V with manual transmission and have looked for OEM floor mats (Black color) and on a few sites there is a difference between the S and J VIN for the mats. I know J is for Japan and S is for England but I was wondering if there was truly a difference in...
