So I have a 2005 (I checked via the VIN but im not quite sure on the year) Honda CRV and I’m trying to wire a backup camera (Auto-Vox M6) to the reverse light of the CRV. Can anyone tell me where the cord I’m looking for is?
Hey guys new to the forum.. Couldn't find a post relating to this so thought I'd make my own and share what I've done so far on my 97 CR-V.

Hey guys. I had a subwoofer that I installed in my civic and ripped it out once I sold it.
I'd like to install it into my new CRV 2019. But am worried the wire lengths may not be long enough? My CRV is in the shop right now so I can't make any measurements.
Anyone here have a general idea of...
Could someone please tell me what speaker wire is positive and negative on all the doors on a UK spec car without sat nav. I need to cut the speaker blocks on all 4 doors as they have all corroded. I can only find US spec.
Any help appreciated.
I am wiring up a Homelink auto-dimming mirror. One of the terminals is for a reverse wire so the mirror stops dimming when the vehicle is in reverse. If possible, I would like to enable this feature. Anyone know where I can find a reverse wire to tap under the dash?
I have spent hours...
I was trying to wire the front speakers of my car, but there are two positives and two negatives.
Why are there 4 wires? Is one for the Tweeter or something?
What is the best way to wire it? :confused2:
I just ran the two wires to positive and two wires to negative.

Hello Everyone, I'm hoping someone can lead me in the right direction. I'm adding a new headunit to a 2007 Honda CRV EX with Navigation/amp/subwoofer. I'm not willing to spend $200 for the connections to keep those goodies working, but direct plugging into the new unit results in no sound...
I own a 2006 CR-V and am replacing the radio. I understand the utility of the main wire harness, and am comfortable (hopefully) working with that. But I remain a novice. I do not know what the small white connector on the image below is for. What does it control? What term should...
I pulled the 3 wires from my female plug on the harness side that plugs into the compressor. There is a Red, Red/White, and Green/Red. I assume the solid red should be on the same pin as the solid red in the compressor, but the other 2 lead to something that resembles a sensor of some type. I...
Installing an Alpine iLX-107 in my 2005 EX. While I was at it I decided to also add a backup camera. Got the radio in and starting the camera install. However, I got hung up at locating a place to tap the radio's backup sensor wire into the backup light wiring.
Searched this site and the net...
I was wondering, I added a homelink module to my 17 CRV LX overhead
it works but cannot get the leds lights on the button to illuminate. I guess the harness in the overhead did not have it.
is there a way I can add that wire from somewhere ? Maybe tap the harness underneath the drivers...
I recently picked up a 2014 EX AWD, and I'm trying to pick a spot for a phone mount. I'm leaning towards somewhere on the left side of the dashboard, and looking at where I'd like to run the charge/power cable. I'm likely going to run a hardwire line from somewhere in the interior fuse block...
Hi there, sorry if this sounds a daft question but I have been trying to get a wire from under the bonnet to the fusebox under the steering column. No way can I find through. Has anyone else managed this please.
Im planning on adding a piggy back alarm system to our 3rd Gen. Does anyone have access to wiring colors and locations? The ones I have seen online do not correspond to my early 07 3rd Gen
I'm planning on using a Hornet 727T alarm.
