I had a 2003 CR-V ex and I had room for a woofer under the front passager seat. Now i have a 2005, but there is a lot of cables and stuff under the seat. Any one know what all that is and if so, can I remove it to make room for my woofer?

See title. I call it a "woofer" because I don't believe it's a true subwoofer. But where is it? TIA

The jury is still out, on whether I'll keep the factory stereo / nav, on my 2009 CR-V EX-L, I just bought. If I do replace it, I will buy the install kit, to plug it into the existing wiring. How do I know if I have a factory sub woofer? I know it will be a question asked. Jeff

Has anyone done any modifications to the sub unit yet? I thought it was a 6 1/2" woofer but it looks like it is a 5 1/4" woofer instead. Crutchfield chat confirmed this yesterday. I'd like to know if anyone has opened on of these units up and if there is room for a 6 1/2" in there. I don't mind...

Hi There Folkses. This is my first non big 3 auto and I love it; a 2009 CR-V EX-L and it comes 2 months after I bought a Pilot EX for my wife. I have a couple of questions about the sound system. First, is it just mine or is the sub woofer output very inadequite? I have to turn the bass to...

I decided my wife's V could use a little thump on the low end, as many have pointed out, the bass from the factory audio system isn't that great. I decided to go with an 8 inch Rockford Fosgate Punch P1 sub, and a Rockford Fosgate 300-1 Punch series amp. To keep it clean, I built a custom...

I have a 2008 CRV EX with the "270-Watt AM/FM/6-Disc In-Dash Audio System with 7 Speakers Including Subwoofer" The sub woofer is not very noticable however and I was wondering if it's just the way it is or should it be more noticeable? I currently have the bass and treble at Center position...
