Hi I'm Jim, new to the forum. Have an '05 CRV with 104k miles on it. Got it used about 10-12k miles ago. I change the oil and filter every 3k miles, using 5W-30. I also replaced radiator, water pump and thermostat about 1k miles ago after the radiator sprung a leak. It's been cooling well since then but now the check engine light / service engine soon is on. I'm scared to drive it now in fear of causing damage, though did take it to auto zone and pulled up code p1009. Looks like this code could mean a number of things, and I'd like to fix it myself but I'm not very experienced at diagnosing these newer more complicated engines (I prefer to work on simple things like 70's Honda motorcycles).

Seems like it takes a little more to start up than usual, and sometimes sputters for about 15-20 seconds and then smooths out when starting it in the driveway. Any seasoned Honda techies with tips for where to look first?

Thanks!
