It's been snowy recently and sometimes when I press the brakes and if it's slippery, the car will not stop. But what's concerning is the weird noise the brake makes, it's hard to describe but it sounds like something is rubbing about something. I don't hear anything in normal dry weather when the brake is effective. Should I be concerned?

Thanks

Maybe your abs system or stability control system was activated?

That’s the ABS working. Don’t be so aggressive with the brakes when it’s slick.
