I'm thinking of purchasing Snow tires for my 2018 AWD EX CR-V. I've been reading about downsizing wheels for winter tires and my question is can I put 16 inch rims on a 2018 AWD CRV? And if so what do I need to shop for? I was hoping to not spend a ton of money and look at buying the wheels used but I want to make sure I purchase the right thing. Will this also give me more/different options for the winter ties themselves?

Also, when I take it in to get the wheels swapped out want all with they have to adjust for the smaller wheel size?

Have you given any thought to the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and what you will need to do to either keep it active? Or in case you get generic used wheels with no TPMS what you will have to do to disable the system?
