What's up ya'll. I just bought a 98 honda crv. The guy I bought it from was a truck driver and would tow the crv. He had a tow hitch welded to the front and whatever he did he had to remove the original airbox and replaced it with an AM air intake. I want to replace it with a new one. Would anyone please recommend a cold air intake. I'm not really interested in sound. I just want a reliable one. Thanks.

I'm not familiar with a '98 CRV but the original air box may be the only "true cold air" intake for your CRV. Without a few more details, maybe a pic or 2 of your current setup, it will be hard to make a recommendation. If you are talking about having/buying one of those cone shaped air filters, most of the ones I've seen are "hot air intake" systems.......they intake hot under the hood air vs fresh/cool air from in front of the radiator support.
