Hello, after lurking about for the past few weeks I am making my first post.
I have recently acquired a 1st gen CRV import. Im not sure what year it is. I think its a 1996 but I have no proof of that. It has the 4 lug wheels and the Japanese built in navigation system CD player combo that is of no use to me. It looks like this:

I want to rip out the navigation system and put in a radio that either has a tape deck or an aux input. The current tape deck doesnt work very well. I found a couple dash panels with double din setups on ebay and some that come with radios. I need help deciding whats compatible.

Any tips or suggestion would be very much appreciated

Thanks

Welcome and good luck with your V.
Unfortunately none of your links seem to be working for me so no help there.
However..."tape deck"??? perhaps you need to be a bit more clear on what you are looking for.

I tried to see what would fit using the Crutchfield.com site but they don't show a CRV...odd that.
A picture of the current system/dash would help.
I don't think "compatibility" is going to be a problem. Harnesses and connectors will probably be the most exacting parts you are going to need. A dash kit so the new unit will fit properly will be necessary. After that choose the unit that offers what you want/need and is within your budget which you also don't specify.

Here is a link to the dash kits offered:

Good luck and keep us informed.
