Can anyone tell me what the message (passenger airbag) means?

What year is your CR-V?
My guess is it's telling you the front passenger airbags are disabled for some reason, probably because you have something sitting on the passenger seat that doesn't weigh very much.
If you have small children they should be in the back seat, not in the front seat.
