Just bought this, and noticed the ignition fuse is blown and underneath it's been hotwired. Is this a problem? I notice that the 1999's had a recall on the ignition switch for blowing this fuse. will I have a problem if I just leave it hotwired? I live in Duluth, MN(lots of hills) and don't really want it to stall in traffic.

thats a new one for me. The fuse is there for a reason, and now if there is an issue, the wire will melt and could catch the car on fire.

uhh ignition fuses are pretty cheap, and if it has a problem with blowing a fuse is obviously surges, I would def fix it, a hot wire to bypass a fuse is a good way to buy a whole new ignition system
