Hello all,
To make a very long story short, a friend and I recently changed my clutch and rear main seal and unfortunatly there is a pretty bad leak from the rear main seal again. I replaced the oil pan once and the gakset 4 times to rule out the oil leak being from the oil pan, it is definitely the rear main seal : / So my question is, we had a VERY hard time getting the manual transmission out and then even harder time putting it back up due to its odd shape, unevenly distributed weight, and location to the k member. What I am trying to figure out is, is it easier to remove the whole motor from the top or try taking the transmission off from the side again. We just had such issues getting the tranmission off and back on, everything else is easy. I have taken motors out of Civics several times and reinstalled them. I do know this is very different than the Civics. Any input would be very helpful, Thank You!
