Just changed timing belt now 2001 crv hits rev limit when driving. Looked at timing marks they look fine. What else can I check?

Crv starts fine but when you try to accelerate it sounds like you hit the 2500 or so rev limiter. What to check next.

Do you have any engine trouble codes ? Sounds like it could be low or dirty oil or a v-tech issue.
Is it possible you didn't get everything connected back up? (vacuum lines, electrical connectors).
Will it rev well over 2500 rpm in neutral?
Those answers may help others help you.

PS: Any similar problems before you changed the timing belt?

Ran fine before timing belt. Oil is not low and was just changed. It will not rev over 2500 in park. Checked vacuum lines all look connected.
