That was a feature in the later models, none of the 96-01's do that.

Anyone else here have a 2001 CRV es ...if so do the indicators flash on locking/unlocking the car ? ...mine do not :/ ...
Also while I'm here has anyone broke off the light bulb retaining clip and found a good way to re attach it mine came off today while putting in new bulbs ......spent best part of an hour trying to make the clip latch and not fly back off ...now I'm granny driving everywhere just incase :/
