I’ve seen a lot information on 2002-2010 models. But the location of the switch must be different on my 1997-2001 model.

This is what is happening:
1. My headlight buzzer does “NOT” work
2. My Dome Light “DOES” turn on and off when I open and close door.

Any idea what I need to fix and where it might be found?

Thanks and greatly appreciated

search all the years the gen 1 CRVs were made via google.

And it's not a switch, it's just a little buzzer that's activated if key is off and headlight switch is turned on. Likely in or near fuse box.

the key and headlight reminder speaker is part of the electronic control unit that attaches to the back of the passenger compartment fuse box. I don't think it's individually repairable.
