hi I have a 2001 honda crv lx it has a manual transmission the shifter cables are frayed and I have all up gears 1 3 5 but no down gears 2 4 and reverse. The honda retailer is telling me the part is discontinued and I'm having a hard time finding the part at my local junkyard I was wondering if I could use another honda shifter cable to put on my car . Please help and thank-you
