Just tonight, the following happened:

1: Unable to lock any doors with drivers side lock switch. It acts like the switch is completely broken. The power windows work for all doors and from the driver's door console.
2: Windshield wiper is dead on intermittent. It works for faster speeds.
3: Brake light is stuck on.
4: AC just stopped working. It blows hot air.
5: Remote doesn't do anything. Even if I am inside, it will not unlock any doors or lock them.

All of this happened in a matter of hours. I parked and then the doors wouldn't work. Then I noticed the rest.

Could these be fuse related?

I have the same problem with my 04 number 1 except that only my passenger window does not go down and my key fob will unlock/lock. The switch does not lock/unlock.

Going to check the fuse tomorrow as a first step.

Check your battery. Otherwise you may have problems with the multiplex control unit. I’m looking at the manual for the 05-06. Assuming they didn’t change anything between them, almost all of your complaints are handled through the multiplex control unit. Are the tail lights stuck on, or is the the brake warning light on the dash?

Yes, the brake light is stuck ON on the dash. So weird for it to happen all of a sudden and so weird to have this happen after all of these years when I have had bad batteries before.
Thank you

I think you have a common ground problem ,do you have power and ground to the lock switch, if not reference the color of the wires and check at the door pillor if not common ground if you do broken wire on harness from opening and closing door between the pillor and door. A bad ground can cause multiple problems

I had my 2006 CRV with 69k miles, was just serviced by the Honda dealer a few days ago, with an AC check. The compressor went out two days ago and the approximate cost is $3,700. I never estimated this with a Honda ...so much for their claims of lowest cost of ownership!

Parts don't last forever. Obviously you have never tried to keep a domestic branded vehicle on the road for this long. Would be nickel and dime stuff constantly.

And it's your own fault if your going to pay crazy amounts to the dealership for repairs. Have nothing you can complain about when you likely could have had the repair done for under $1000

I have an '02 CR-V that just did all of these things! The dealer said they think it might be the multiplex control unit, which sounds like what you discovered. Can I ask if that is what you ended up replacing, if it fixed all of the above issues, and around how much it cost? Thanks so much for sharing!
