Hello everyone-

Long time Honda owner but new to the world of CRV's. I bought a used 2002 CRV to replace my 05 pilot and so far I love it! I am having trouble finding replacement key fobs for the key less entry (bought the car knowing they were missing ). I have verified that the factory receiver is located behind the center storage compartment below the factory 6 disc changer. The after market sites that sell the replacements need the FCC ID number off the original remote. I have had no luck obtaining that number from my usual dealer ships. The part number from the Hondaparts now website is 08E60-S9A-100.

Any help or direction would be appreciated

Thanks.

I think on YT there was a guy that bought a fob/transmitter to install and that worked but you might have to look at YT as they gave the part number to get that replacement. As to the Fob unless you have that number still that is what you use to find the matching replacement.

Assuming that your vehicle has keyless entry
And you are just looking to replace the key fobs, ...
believe it is possible to program the vehicle to learn the new key fobs
