Hi folks. I'm referring to the top left button on this switch, on the driver's armrest:

I'm guessing it's supposed to demist/defrost the mirrors, right? However, nothing I do can get that little light to come on, so I dunno if I'm operating it correctly.

I have a 2002 car, but I have a 2005 user manual. Here's what it says:

That can't be right... can it? (Obviously, pressing the button doesn't make them fold in.)

All help would be most appreciated, thanks!

Thanks for the confirmation.

I was hoping it was an easy fix like a busted fuse, but there doesn't appear to be one listed for that function in my workshop or user manuals. Ah well. :)

Try to also check for circuit breakers. Sometimes manufacturers use circuit brakes on those heaters. does your rear defroster work? I know some cars if the rear defroster does not work the front heated mirrors will not work. Let us know.

The heated rear window is working fine, so it must be on a different circuit.

I think in the UK we use the word "fuse" (mentioned above) to mean the same thing as your use of "circuit breaker", by the way. I can't see it listed separately anywhere. Thanks.
