Girlfriend's 2006 CR-V is making noise, trying to diagnose the problem.

The right front tire makes sort of a low thumping/clicking type noise under "easy" braking. Like if you're applying 10% brake pedal and you're 40 feet from a stop sign and there's no cars ahead of you. The noise happens maybe from 5 to 0 mph.

Steering doesn't seem to be affected and I can't feel anything in the brake pedal. Mashing hard on the brakes doesn't make the noise.

I took the tire off, the brake caliper and tire rod end/suspension, everything seemed tight and secure.

Any idea what it could be?
