I have a 2007 CR-V that I bought used back in 2012. It's a great car, but I've had to replace the battery like every 9 months! I've done some Google searches and some folks seem to blame this on the A/C Relay. Has anyone else had this experience? I've got nothing added to the vehicle to draw additional current.

Appreciate any help!

I've heard that some vehicles have been setup so that the battery is only charged during engine braking. This improves fuel economy. I don't know if it's the case here.

I know the Holden Colorado can have this option switched off at a dealership. A free way to test would be to modify your driving habit to see if that affects the battery life.
