2008 CRV battery light turn on
I have a CRV 2008 and yesterday in the morning all lights goes on, when I tried to star the engine. I turn off the engine and when i tried to start the vehicle again was dead. I test the battery and was damage then I bought a new one. I start the vehicle and test the alternator, the reading was good 14.33 without a/c, but the battery light goes on. Then I turn the a/c and light and there reading goes down to 12.4, and the battery light continue on, when i accelerate the engine the light goes off for 2 second, but goes on again. My CRV is 2008

I'm having the same problem. 2008 CR-V EX-L. We had a new battery installed about a month ago and this morning the battery light is on. Did you ever get this resolved?
Could be a loose or worn out belt or tensioner.
I agree that the overwhelming majority of the time it is a alternator issue. Honestly this should be called an alternator light and not battery light
