I have a 2008 Honda CR-V and am having an intermittent problem with the automatic transmission. It doesn't do it everytime, and there seems to be no difference if its morning or afternoon or summer or winter. If the car has been sitting for a few hours when you first go to take of it will shift very jerky from the initial shift from 1st to 2nd. It will only do it once and then its fine the rest of the time driving. It may not do it for a month or it may do it 3 times in a week. The engine will rev up alittle more than usual in first and then it will do a weird jerk and shift into 2nd. The Dealer is unable to diagnosis it.

Has the transmission fluid been changed lately? Also if there's a filter inside the sump, has that been changed? I'm sure a few experts on here will be able to help you out. Good luck!
