How do I remove the tail light assembly to check for bad bulbs? I removed the two covers and the two screws, and the assembly is loose. I've pushed and pulled in every direction I can think of but it won't come off the car. I don't want to break anything...

Underlying issue is the two main brake lights aren't working. The fuse is good, and the brake light in the window is working.

Thanks

Thanks. Looks like there are three plastic pegs pointing fore and aft on the outer edge of the light assembly. So I need to get some leverage on the outer edge and pull toward the rear.
