Recently the ac stopped working on the wife's 2010 EX. Took it to my local shop and they say the compressor is out. They want $1700 to replace it. That seems a but high, just wanted to run it by the group and see what you all think. Thanks!

I paid 1300. Coastal North Carolina if that makes a difference. The replaced the compressor with a Denso OEM.

If you put your vehicle details in your profile it's easier to give advice.
Another little trick, if you put your location in people will see it if they hover over the flag.
Neither is required of course, but it helps in many cases.
