In the Honda service manual, it shows the 2007 - 2009 requiring 5w-20 engine oil. 2010 & 11 calls for 0w-20.

What could possibly be the reason for the difference since, I assume, the engine is the same for all years of that generation.

Do any of you use 5w-20 in your 2010 or 11?

There was a MAJOR engine redesign in 2010. Bigger valves, total redesigned intake and exhaust systems, bigger intake filter, low-friction piston rings, higher compression ratio to 10.5:1, resulting the horrendous, infamous "Hesitation" problem, affecting all 2010 and early 2011, well documented on this site.

But, it appears none of that would affect the oil viscosity recommendation. I have an '07 with 88K miles and a '10 with 25K miles and have tried both oils in both cars using Honda branded oil, both full synthetic and synthetic blend, or semi-synthetic. I have settled on this oil for both vehicles, 5 Qt. jug from Walmart for $26.44:
