Hi,

Not a car guy....posting for my mom.

She has a 2010 CRV and has dedicated winter tires (225/65R17). She's upgrading to 2020 CRV which runs 235/55R19 wheels/tire size.
My assumption is that even though the 17s might fit, they would mess with mileage, suspension setup, alignment, etc.
Thoughts?
TIA,
Marcelo

You’d need to look at the tire and rim specs from a 2017-2019 lx crv 17” to not give you false readings

The 19s are 6/10" taller tire than those 17s......not really a big deal. The 17" wheels should clear the brakes, I would think. Bolt one up and let us know.

If you are worried about speedometer accuracy, go to one of the comparison sites. I use this one:

Four tires, all the same size, would not affect alignment or suspension noticeably.

But you SHOULD look into tire load capacity for the OEM 19" ties VS your 17" snows.
