So...will my vehicle need valve adjustments? I know Gen I needed valve adjustments, but I'm wondering if my 2011 will, and when should I plan on having the adjustments done...every 5k, every 10k?

Thanks in advance.

Call up your Dealer and ask them.

Look at page 347 in your owners manual. Says to adjust only if noisy, for what ever that is worth.
The gen 1 crvs had problems with the exh valves receding into their seats and that problem has been corrected in newer gens.
I haven't heard much about adj the valves on your gen of CRV.
Do some Internet searching for the correct answer, probably going to the MM

I like to check my valves periodically. Did it at 55 and 120K miles.

Thanks to the roller bearing followers on the K24 engine, they were not greatly out of adjustment (although they WERE a few thousandths off on the exhaust valves each time)

I'd say have them checked every 60K miles or 6 years...
