I couldn't find cut in a search, but I have a 2011....what kind of wheels?

I recently used a wrong cleaner on my motorcycle and needless to say the results weren't awesome. So now I'm making sure I know everything with all my vehicles and what cleaners can be used.

I'm using they're mag? I'm not even sure what mag means.

It's the bare model by the way..the lx?

Google tells me it's steel. Seems like that's not enough info though? Isn't a mag wheel still steel?

I'm taking it anything will be fine then, eh?

Unless you got upgraded Aluminum rims, the LX came with Steelies.

Shouldn't be too hard to determine that steel rims do not look anything like Aluminum rims.

Do you know if they're clear coated?

Or doesn't that matter with steel? I just don't want to spray some cleaner on them and trash them.

The term mag is from when wheels were made from magnesium, now the stronger aluminum alloys have dominated the market, but for old folks the term mag lives on.
