I have a set of winters 235/70R16 that I would like to use on my 2011 CRV.......... would this tire size be suitable on proper 16" rims to replace the current 17" rims and tires.
Thanks

The tires i was looing to purchase are 215/70/16 but i have a set of Blizzak 235/70/16 from my previous vehicle 2002 highlander. Was going to sell them but figured I would ask if they would fit the 2011 CRV..... they look big so I initially thought no way will they be an option.

use this to check and compare tire sixe

if the witdh and dia are close then you should be good to go

is the lug pattern the same?

If you have them try them out and see how the fit, just do one front one as the brakes are the largest

if you can fit a a few credit cards stacked through the smallest gap i would think you would be good to go as long as nothing else rubs in the wheel well
