My 2011 Honda CR-V is stalling when I first start the car. Then maybe the second time and sometimes 3rd time it starts and from then on all day it's fine. This seems to happen when I haven't run it for two or three days. It's like the gas is evaporating from somewhere so it doesn't have enough to keep going when I turn the key on. Anyone know what is happening?

Any rough idle when this happens? What is the mileage? If more than 80K miles, what maintenance has been done?

Your throttle body may be dirty. It's a 15 minute job to clean it. (OK, maybe 30 minutes including the Idle Learn Procedure. Do a SEARCH for directions on both tasks.)

Another possibility is that your cylinder head temp sensor is not reading correctly, and this false information is resulting in the ECU not compensating for temperature. (Had that on a Toyota, once.)
